Pembelajaran Tematik

Kekuatan manusia berada pada penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan menerapkannya. Ilmu pengetahuan dibangun sekolah secara bertahap dan tersekat-sekat dalam banyak mata pelajaran dan dalam banyak disiplin yang karakternya berbeda-beda. Namun, dalam penerapannya, siswa hampir selalu memerlukan pendekatan yang integratif, berbagai disiplin dan pendekatan itu diterapkan secara simultan dalam menyikapi berbagai gejala kehidupan scara kritis, dalam memecahkan berbagai masalah kehidupan.
Keterampilan untuk menggunakan berbagai disiplin ilmu secara simultan, sistematis dan logis sering tidak tergarap oleh sekolah. Masalahnya, sekolah lebih berkonsetrasi pada peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam bidang agama, bahasa, matematika, sejarah dan yang lainnya. Memecahkan masalah bagaimana menggunakan berbagai bidang disiplin ilmu dalam menghadapi masalah kehidupan secara integratif sepertinya cukup diserahkan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan kompetensinya secara alamiah.
Banyak lembaga pendidikan yang memberikan perhatian terhadap masalah itu. Di antaranya dengan mengembangkan kurikulum terpadu. Di beberapa sekolah unggul di Indonesia mengadopsi strategi pembelajaran ini sebagai ciri khas keunggulan proses pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran tematik memungkinkan satu tema tertentu dibahas dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Contoh, tema pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga perkotaan dibahas dari sisi agama, sejarah, biologi, geografi, kimia, sehingga tema itu menjadi bahan pembahasan sejumlah mata pelajaran.
Untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran seperti itu memerlukan disain kurikulum yang berbeda dengan model pembelajaran per disiplin ilmu. Sekolah perlu menentukan tema-tema yang relevan dengan banyak Standan Kompetensi dan Kompetensi dasar pada berbagai mata pelajaran. Perlu menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran pada tema-tema yang dipilih dan perlu mengembangkan kolaborasi pendidik sehingga tidak bekerja sendiri-sendiri.
Kurikulum Terpadu merupakan suatu pendekatan yang mempersiapkan siswa untuk belajar mengembangkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan kehidupan di abad depan dengan yang terintegrasi dalam berbagai dimensi.Dengan pendekatan ini siswa memadukan berbagai aspek keilmuan yang fous pada pemahaman gejalan kehidupan secara terintegrasi pula dalam bidang studi yang luas.
Kegiatan belajar dan mengajar dengan dengan pendekatan holostik ini mencerminkan dunia nyata, yang kompleks dan interaktif. Secara umum, kurikulum atau kurikulum terpadu interdisipliner meliputi:

• Kombinasi bebagai mata pelajaran
• Penekanan pada proyek-proyek atau tutas terstruktur
• Sumber buku teks melampau berbagai mata pelajaran
• Menghubungkan antara konsep
• Mengorganikasi unit-unit dalam satu tema
• Jadwal Fleksibel
• Fleksibel pengelompokan siswa.

Manfaat Pembelajaran Tematik
Penerapan kurikulum terpada pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik memberikan manfaat sebagai berikut:
1. Penggabungan banyak kompetensi dasar, indikator, serta isi mata pelajaran menghemat waktu karena tumpang tindih materi dapat dikurangi bahkan dihilangkan,
2. Siswa mampu melihat hubungan-hubungan yang bermakna materi dalam konteks kehidupan yang fokus pada penguasaan kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup.
3. Pembelajaran menjadi utuh sehingga siswa akan mendapat pengertian mengenai proses dan materi yang tidak terpecah-pecah.
4. Dengan adanya pemaduan antar mata pelajaran maka penguasaan konsep akan semakin baik dan meningkat.

Karakteristik Pembelajaran Tematik
Pembelajaran tematik memiliki karakteristik seperti di bawah ini.
1. Berpusat pada siswa
2. Memberikan pengalaman langsung
3. Pemisahan matapelajaran tidak begitu jelas
4. Menyajikan konsep dari berbagai matapelajaran
5. Bersifat fleksibel
6. Hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan minat dan kebutuhan siswa
7. Menggunakan prinsip belajar sambil bermain dan menyenangkan

Model pembelajaran seperti ini dapat diterapkan dalam pengembangan kompetensi akademik siswa terutama dalam mengembangkan daya kompetisi siswa melalui kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Cocok juga untuk mengembangkan kompetensi siswa dalam mempersiapkan lomba pada berbagai mata pelajaran agar pembinanaan dapat dilakukan secara kolaboratif oleh banyak guru. Lebih banyak guru yang turut membina, asal teorganisir dalam sistem yang sehat, akan menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik,

In almost all developing countries, the lack of
adequate supplies of cheap, convenient and reliable
fuel is a major problem. Rural communities depend"
largely on kerosene, wood and dung for their cooking
and lighting needs. But kerosene is now priced out of
reach of any people and wood, except in heavily
forested areas, is in short supply. The search for
firewood occupies a large part of the working day and
has resulted in widespread deforestation.
Dung is in constant supply wherever there are
farm animals and, when dried, it is convenient to store
and use. But burning dung destroys its value as
fertilizer, thus depriving the soil of a much needed
source of humus and nitrogen.
Rural areas of developing countries are also
plagued by a lack of adequate sanitation. Improper
waste disposal spreads disease, contaminates water
sources and provides breeding grounds for diseasecarrying
insects.
The problems of improving environmental
hygiene, conserving resources, and finding alternative
sources of fuel, may be unrelated. Their solutions,
however, are not, as many countries experimenting
with biogas technology are discovering. Biogas, a
mixture of methane and carbon dioxide, is produced
by the fermentation of organic matter. The process of
anaerobic fermentation is a natural one, occurring
whenever living matter decomposes. By keeping the
matter - and the process - in a digester of biogas plant,
the combustible gas can be trapped and used as fuel
for household lighting and cooking. The digested
slurry that remains can be used on the land as a soil
conditioner arid fertilizer.

Di sebuah musium di negara Inggris, ada tiga buah potongan batu tersebut ( dari Ka’Bah ) dan pihak musium juga mengatakan bahwa bongkahan batu-batu tersebut bukan berasal dari sistem tata surya kita.Dalam salah satu sabdanya, Rasulullah SAW bersabda, “Hajar Aswad itu diturunkan dari surga, warnanya lebih putih daripada susu, dan dosa-dosa anak cucu Adamlah yang menjadikannya hitam.
